Gloria R. Franz

Gloria is the founder and president of Franz Tatum Wealth Management and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, a Chartered SRI Counselor™ and a Personal CFO. She has been in the financial services industry since 1989 and is a native of the Coachella Valley. She has attended College of the Desert, California State University, San Bernardino and has completed the financial planning certification program through the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (www.cfp.net), and the College for Financial Planning, Chartered SRI Counselor™ program designed for advanced financial planners, providing foundational knowledge on sustainable, responsible and impact (SRI) investments, in partnership with US|SIF. (www.cffp.edu) (www.ussif.org) She holds multiple FINRA securities licenses along with her State of California insurance license.

She believes that wealth management planning should be designed around your personal goals and values.  The true meaning of wealth does not revolve around what money can buy - it is a tool that allows you to live life on your terms and can be used to impact causes that matter to you. Wealth management encompasses so much more than investment advice; it is a process that works toward bringing clarity through organization.  She works with a team of qualified advisors to educate, encourage, and empower you.

Gloria believes in giving back to her community.  She is active in the GFWC Woman’s Club of Indio, since 1997 (www.wcindio.org), the Planning Commission (chairperson 2020) and past member of the Citizen’s Finance Committee for the City of Indio(www.indio.org). Gloria also has the distinguished honor of being chosen as one of 2020’s “Angels on Earth” Above and Beyond Award recipient (https://angellightacademy.org), 2013’s Business Woman of the Year award recipient presented by Assemblymember V. Manual Perez and graduate of the 2002-2003 Leadership Coachella Valley program (www.leadershipcv.org).  She has served as a board trustee of the Coachella Valley History Museum, since 2008 (www.cvhm.org), is part of the Editorial Board at The Desert Sun, since 2015 (www.desertsun.com) and is a Governing Board member for the Desert Care Network (JFK Memorial Hospital) since 2019 (www.desertcarenetwork.com/about/governing-board).

Gloria believes in living her life with a positive outlook, balancing the need to enjoy today while planning for tomorrow.  She is part of a large extended family and enjoys experiencing all the world has to offer with her husband, daughter and their three fur babies.
